Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Telecoms Billing Systems Analyst to join their finance and operations team in Edinburgh . This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our client's billing processes. You will be responsible for analyzing billing data, managing billing systems, and resolving discrepancies to ensure seamless revenue capture. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of billing operations within the telecommunications industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex billing data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and configure the company's telecommunications billing systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Develop and generate billing reports for various stakeholders, including finance and customer service.
- Investigate and resolve billing errors and customer inquiries related to billing statements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) working with billing systems, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or other relevant software.
- Understanding of telecommunications services, pricing models, and revenue assurance principles.
