About the Role

This hands-on role involves traveling to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems. You will be the face of the company on the ground, providing essential technical support and ensuring seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission telecommunications hardware and software at customer premises.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostic checks, and preventative repairs on network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by clients, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct site surveys and assess network requirements for new installations or upgrades.
• Provide technical assistance and training to end-users on the operation of telecom equipment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures while working on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role within the telecoms sector .
• Strong knowledge of fibre optics, copper cabling, wireless technologies, and relevant network hardware.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the Coventry area.
• Proficiency in using testing and measurement equipment.
