Our client is looking for a motivated Telecoms Installation Technician to join their team in Oxford . This is a hands-on role focused on the physical installation and setup of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure for commercial and residential clients. You will ensure that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, playing a vital part in delivering reliable communication services. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test various types of telecoms equipment , including cabling, routers, and access points.
• Perform site surveys to assess installation requirements and identify potential challenges.
• Ensure all installations are completed according to technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic installation-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities and equipment used.
• Provide basic customer guidance on equipment usage post-installation.

Requirements

• Experience in installations, preferably within the telecoms , IT, or electrical fields.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and telecommunications hardware.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license.
