Telecoms Network Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent Telecoms Network Analyst to join their fully remote operations team. This role is integral to monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance and health of their telecommunications network infrastructure. You will play a key part in identifying trends, potential issues, and opportunities for optimization to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, performance metrics, and system logs in real-time.
• Analyze network data to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential performance bottlenecks.
• Generate regular reports on network health, uptime, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in troubleshooting network issues by gathering data and providing insights to engineers.
• Contribute to capacity planning and network upgrade strategies based on usage trends.
• Maintain network documentation and operational procedures relevant to analysis and monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in network analysis or a similar role within the telecoms industry .
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and packet capture software.
• Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adapted for remote collaboration.
