About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Telecoms Network Architect to lead the design and strategic planning of their future network infrastructure in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall architectural vision for the company's telecommunications network, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for network enhancement and innovation.
• Create detailed network design documents, including blueprints, specifications, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in telecommunications network design and architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of IP networking, MPLS, SDN, NFV, cloud networking, and wireless technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting large-scale, high-availability networks.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications industry standards and best practices.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
