About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Telecoms Network Architect to contribute to their evolving infrastructure in Milton Keynes . This senior-level position involves conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge telecommunications networks that meet future business demands. You will play a crucial role in defining network strategy, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring that our client's network is robust, scalable, and secure. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong strategic thinking, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization. You will work within a hybrid model, balancing essential office collaboration with productive remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document high-level and low-level designs for complex telecoms network solutions , including data, voice, and mobile networks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to identify opportunities for network enhancement and innovation.
• Define network standards, policies, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across the infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical blueprints.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams during the implementation phase.
• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure the network can scale with business growth.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in network design and architecture, specifically within the telecoms industry .
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, MPLS, SDN, NFV, and cloud networking concepts.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, resilient, and high-performance networks.
• Experience with network security principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
