Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall architecture for the company's telecoms network , encompassing both core and access layers.
• Design high-level network solutions for new services and upgrades, considering scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the telecoms industry, recommending adoption where appropriate.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure the successful implementation and lifecycle management of network designs.
• Create detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and strategy papers.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex network design challenges to cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• 10+ years of experience in network architecture and design, with a significant focus on the telecoms sector.
• Expertise in areas such as MPLS, SDN, NFV, 5G core, and cloud networking principles.
• Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, high-availability networks.
