About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Telecoms Network Architect to lead the strategic design and evolution of their telecommunications infrastructure, based in Belfast . You will play a key role in shaping the technology roadmap, evaluating new solutions, and providing technical leadership across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the long-term strategic roadmap for the telecom network architecture .
• Design and document complex network solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and propose their adoption to enhance network capabilities and efficiency.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to network engineering and operations teams.
• Lead the architecture review process for significant network upgrades and new deployments.
• Ensure network designs comply with security best practices and relevant industry standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in telecom network design and architecture, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Deep understanding of IP networking, MPLS, DWDM, LTE/5G core, and other relevant telecom technologies.
• Experience with cloud networking, virtualization, and software-defined networking (SDN) principles.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills .
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE) are highly desirable.
