Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency.
• Implement network security measures and protocols to protect data and systems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new deployments.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and configuration guides.
• Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Research and recommend network enhancements and new technologies to improve performance and security.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a telecoms network engineering role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent practical experience are a plus.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
