About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a proficient Telecoms Network Engineer to join their fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex network configurations, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance using advanced tools, identifying and resolving issues proactively to ensure high availability.
• Perform regular system maintenance, software upgrades, and security patching across the network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Respond to network incidents and outages, providing swift and effective resolution within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on network integration and new service deployments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar network operations role, with a strong focus on telecoms .
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Familiarity with VPN technologies, firewalls, and network security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly desirable.
