About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Telecoms Network Operations Engineer to join their dedicated team, operating remotely. You will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and support of our client's critical telecoms infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our network services, providing continuous connectivity to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and availability using sophisticated monitoring tools.
- Respond to network alerts and incidents, performing rapid diagnostics and resolution.
- Implement network changes and configuration updates according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to resolve complex network issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incident logs.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical network events.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience in network operations or a similar role within the telecoms sector.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and routing technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring software and ticketing systems.
- Basic understanding of network security principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently in a remote setting.
