About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent Telecoms Network Operations Specialist to join their team in Brighton . This critical role focuses on the day-to-day monitoring, management, and optimisation of the company's telecommunications network, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. You will work within a dedicated operations centre, responding to alerts, resolving incidents, and contributing to the overall stability of the infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and traffic levels using specialised tools, identifying and escalating potential issues.
• Respond to and manage network incidents, performing initial diagnostics and coordinating resolution efforts.
• Execute planned maintenance activities and configuration changes according to established procedures.
• Document network events, incident reports, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with other operations and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) for network availability and performance.

Requirements

• Experience in network operations , preferably within the telecoms sector.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required for 24/7 operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
