About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and forward-thinking Telecoms Network Planner to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire . This critical role involves the strategic planning and design of telecommunications networks to meet current and future demand. You will analyze network capacity, forecast growth, and develop detailed plans for network expansion and optimization, ensuring efficient resource utilization and service quality. Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-term and short-term network plans, considering capacity, performance, and technology evolution.
• Analyze network traffic data and usage patterns to identify trends and forecast future demand.
• Design network expansion projects, including fiber rollouts and wireless infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure plans are technically feasible and cost-effective.

Requirements

• Proven experience in network planning or a related role within the telecoms sector .
• Strong understanding of network design principles, including capacity planning and traffic engineering.

• Proficiency in network planning tools and software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
