About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and forward-thinking Telecoms Network Planner to contribute to their strategic infrastructure development in Portsmouth . This hybrid role involves the detailed planning and design of network expansion projects, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to map out future network growth, identify capacity requirements, and optimize resource allocation. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed network designs and expansion plans for telecoms infrastructure , considering capacity, performance, and future growth.
• Analyze network data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to evaluate new technologies and solutions.
• Create and maintain accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams and equipment configurations.
• Assess the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed network changes and upgrades.
• Support the implementation phase by providing technical guidance and clarification to engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in network planning or design within the telecoms industry .
• Strong understanding of network architectures, protocols, and telecommunications technologies.
