Our client is looking for a meticulous and forward-thinking Telecoms Network Planner to join their expanding team in Nottingham . This fully remote position will involve strategic planning and capacity management for our telecommunications network, ensuring it can meet future demands and service requirements. You will analyze network performance data, forecast growth, and develop plans for network expansion and upgrades. This is an ideal role for an individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of network infrastructure planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop long-term capacity plans for the telecommunications network infrastructure.
- Analyze network traffic patterns and predict future growth trends.
- Identify areas for network optimization and expansion to meet increasing demand.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate plans into actionable network upgrade projects.
- Create detailed network topology diagrams and documentation.
- Assess the impact of new services and technologies on network capacity.
- Monitor network performance metrics and report on key indicators to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in network planning, capacity management, or network design.
- Strong understanding of telecom network principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Proficiency in network analysis tools and capacity planning methodologies.

- Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, suited for a remote role.
