About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous Telecoms Network Planner to join their team in Brighton . This hybrid role is essential for the strategic development and expansion of their telecommunications network. You will be responsible for forecasting future network needs, designing network growth plans, and ensuring that capacity aligns with projected demand and technological advancements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-term and short-term network expansion and upgrade plans based on traffic forecasts and technology roadmaps.
• Conduct capacity planning exercises, analyzing current network utilization and predicting future requirements.
• Create detailed network designs and schematics for new builds and upgrades, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams to ensure network plans meet business objectives and customer demands.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to inform future network strategy and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in telecom network planning or design, with a strong understanding of network architectures (e.g., fixed-line, mobile, fibre).
• Proficiency in network planning tools and software, along with strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Knowledge of telecommunications technologies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
