Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain fibre optic cables and associated network equipment.
• Perform fibre splicing and termination, ensuring high-quality connections.
• Diagnose and repair faults within the fibre optic network infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare for network installations.
• Document installation and repair work accurately.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Telecoms Technician , with a strong focus on fibre optics.
• Proficiency in using fibre optic testing equipment (e.g., OTDR, light meters).
• Experience with fibre splicing and termination techniques.
• Understanding of fibre optic network principles and standards.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams and technical specifications.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
