About the Role

You will be involved in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of network equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal disruption. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain a variety of telecoms network equipment , including routers, switches, and fibre optic hardware.
• Perform routine system checks, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance to ensure network reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and equipment issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Assist in the deployment of new network infrastructure and upgrades under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Conduct thorough testing of network components and systems post-installation or repair.
• Maintain accurate records of network configurations, maintenance activities, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• HND or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a network support or technical role, preferably within telecoms.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, and common network protocols.
• Experience with fibre optic cabling and associated testing equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies within the telecoms industry .
