About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Telecoms Operations Manager to lead their operational teams in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . This leadership role is responsible for the day-to-day management of network operations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of telecommunications services. You will oversee a team of engineers and technicians, focusing on service quality, incident management, and continuous improvement of operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of network operations, and a commitment to excellence in a demanding telecoms environment .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the network operations center (NOC) team, providing direction and support.
• Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the company's telecommunications network.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to enhance service delivery.
• Manage incident response and resolution, minimizing downtime and impact on customers.
• Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.
• Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and customer support, to resolve operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing operational teams, ideally within the telecoms industry .
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, telecoms technologies , and operational support systems.
• Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage resources effectively and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices is advantageous.
