Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of network deployment and infrastructure projects in the Milton Keynes area. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proven track record in managing complex projects within the fast-paced telecommunications industry. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring clear communication and task allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and managing expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , specifically within the telecommunications sector.
• Demonstrable success in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
