About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and organised Telecoms Project Manager to oversee critical network infrastructure projects in the Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire area. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of telecommunications deployment methodologies. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of telecommunications projects, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to manage expectations and ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing telecommunications projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
- Experience with network infrastructure projects, fibre rollouts, or similar telecom deployments.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly advantageous.
