Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Telecoms Project Manager to lead and deliver complex network deployment projects in the Leeds area. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing project lifecycles from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate diverse teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and mitigate risks, playing a crucial part in expanding and enhancing our client's telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, thriving in a dynamic and challenging project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor telecoms projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Define project objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage project teams, including internal resources and external vendors, fostering effective collaboration.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Communicate project status, updates, and critical information to all stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a strong advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within the telecommunications sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple concurrent projects with complex dependencies.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of network technologies and deployment processes.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage in a hybrid setting across Leeds .
