About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex telecommunications projects from inception to completion in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. You will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes that align with business objectives and technical requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to drive critical projects within the rapidly evolving telecoms landscape .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of telecoms projects , ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Manage project stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and issues regularly.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and deployment teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee vendor performance and contract management for project-related services.
- Implement project management best practices and continuously improve project delivery processes.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager , with specific experience in the telecoms industry .
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, wireless technologies , and telecommunications systems.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
