About the Role
Our client seeks a diligent and organised Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a variety of telecommunications projects in Leeds . This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage project lifecycles from initiation to closure, coordinating resources, mitigating risks, and communicating progress to stakeholders. This hybrid role offers the chance to work within a collaborative team environment, contributing to the successful deployment of critical network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of telecommunications projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and third-party contractors.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders through regular reports and meetings.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in project management, specifically within the telecommunications or IT infrastructure sector.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and network deployments.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively in a hybrid work setting in Leeds .
