Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Telecoms Project Manager to oversee and execute critical projects within their Cardiff -based operations. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of telecommunications projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical and logistical challenges within the dynamic telecoms landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets for telecoms infrastructure projects.
• Manage project execution, closely monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, and manage contractor performance.
• Ensure projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide comprehensive status reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully managing telecoms projects , preferably related to network deployment or infrastructure upgrades.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within the telecommunications industry is essential.
