About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Telecoms Solutions Architect to spearhead the development of cutting-edge communication solutions in Birmingham . This critical role involves translating business needs into robust technical designs for our telecommunications infrastructure. You will be responsible for the overall architecture of new services and upgrades, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and meet stringent performance requirements. Working within a dedicated solutions team, you will play a key part in defining the technical strategy and roadmap for our client's future growth in the competitive telecommunications market.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end telecom solutions , considering all aspects from network infrastructure to application integration.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to understand customer requirements and market opportunities.
• Create detailed technical proposals, architectural diagrams, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and vendor solutions to enhance service offerings.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
• Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Solutions Architect or senior network designer in the telecom industry.
• Deep understanding of mobile network technologies (4G/5G), VoIP, and cloud-based communication platforms.
• Proven ability to design complex, scalable, and resilient network architectures.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with network security principles and implementation.
