Telehandler / Plant Operator

Are you an experienced Telehandler Operator, Loading Shovel Operator, Plant Operator or Agricultural Machinery Operator looking for a permanent days-based role near Grantham? We're recruiting for a leading renewable energy business at its flagship anaerobic digestion facility in Great Gonerby, Grantham. This is a hands-on position operating telehandlers, loading shovels and other mobile plant, moving and loading crop feedstock and supporting the safe day-to-day running of a busy renewable energy site.

The Role

You will be responsible for safely operating mobile plant and supporting the movement and handling of feedstock across the site.

Key duties will include: Operating telehandlers and loading shovels Moving, loading and managing crop feedstock Loading and unloading vehicles Supporting the feeding of the anaerobic digestion process Managing feedstock around storage and silage clamp areas Carrying out daily pre-use inspections Reporting defects and maintenance requirements Completing basic operator maintenance Keeping operational areas clean and safe Supporting wider plant operations when required Working safely around HGVs, agricultural vehicles and other mobile plant

What We're Looking For

We want to hear from candidates with experience operating: Telehandlers Loading shovels Wheeled loaders Tractors Agricultural machinery Other mobile plant

You may currently be working as a

Telehandler Operator, Telehandler Driver, Loading Shovel Operator, Plant Operator, Plant Operative, Agricultural Operator, Tractor Driver, Recycling Plant Operator or Quarry Operative .

Experience within anaerobic digestion, renewable energy or biomass would be advantageous, but it is not essential. Candidates from agriculture, waste, recycling, quarrying, aggregates and similar environments would be well suited.

Tickets & Licences

Relevant mobile plant certification would be advantageous, including: Telehandler Loading Shovel / Wheeled Loader Tractor CPCS NPORS Equivalent recognised competency

Candidates with strong practical operating experience who may require refresher or site-specific training may also be considered.
