The client is primarily looking for an experienced Office Manager with QuickBooks experience, a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved wherever needed. This is a varied role within a small, supportive team where everyone pitches in and wears multiple hats. The responsibilities outlined below are desirable, but candidates do not need to have experience in every area to be considered.We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join a friendly and supportive team based in Kingston on a temporary basis for 2-3 months. This is a busy and varied position suited to someone who enjoys being at the heart of an office and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating office facilities, suppliers and external contractors, including cleaning services Raising purchase orders using QuickBooks and supporting invoice processing, ordering activities and supplier administration Maintaining warehouse and storage areas, supporting stock control and inventory management, and assisting with operational and project-based requirements Coordinating shipments and deliveries, checking goods against delivery notes and purchase orders, and liaising with suppliers regarding outstanding items Arranging travel, accommodation and transport bookings, researching options and managing associated administration Carrying out weekly fire alarm checks, recording monthly utility meter readings and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office Maintaining employee and supplier records and providing general administrative support using Microsoft Office Managing incoming post and deliveries, alongside office supplies, stationery, kitchen and cleaning stock Managing the main switchboard, directing calls, taking messages and welcoming visitors to the office Organising refreshments, lunches and catering, while ensuring meeting rooms and communal areas are maintained to a high standard Providing occasional support with organising and moving deliveries when requiredAbout You

Previous experience in an Office Manager, Operations Manager or similar role Experience using QuickBooks is highly desirable Strong administrative and organisational skills Comfortable working in a hands-on role with varied responsibilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proactive, adaptable and highly organised Strong attention to detail Friendly, approachable and able to build positive relationships across the business Comfortable working independently as well as part of a teamWhat's on Offer?
