Our client is looking for an experienced and skilled Paint Sprayer to join their team in Surbiton on a temporary basis, with the potential for the assignment to be extended. 🎯 The Role

As a Temporary Paint Sprayer, you’ll play an important role in preparing, colour-matching and finishing cabinetry, furniture and other items to a high standard. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and to the required quality. 🕗 Working Hours Full time - 8:00am or 8:30am start 📍 Location Surbiton 📆 Contract Temporary - approximately 1 week, with the possibility of a longer assignment 💷 Rate

🛠️ What You’Ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• 🎨 Setting up and operating painting and spraying equipment
• 🪵 Sanding, preparing and priming cabinetry, furniture and other surfaces
• 🎯 Selecting, matching and mixing colours
• 🖌️ Applying fillers, primers, topcoats, activators, lacquers and other finishes
• 🔧 Cleaning, maintaining and repairing spray guns and associated equipment
• 🏭 Maintaining and cleaning spray booths and work areas
• 📐 Working from drawings, photographs, computer graphics and detailed technical drawings
• 👥 Supporting and instructing colleagues with preparation work
• 📋 Managing multiple projects and maintaining an organised workflow
• 📦 Procuring materials when required
• 🤝 Resolving customer issues and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
• ⏱️ Working to agreed deadlines and budgets
• 🦺 Following and promoting all company Health & Safety policies and procedures
• 💬 Communicating regularly with your line manager to establish an efficient daily workflow
• 🔄 Carrying out other reasonable duties as required by management

🎨 Technical Knowledge

You should have knowledge and experience of:

• 💧 Water-based paints
• 🧪 1K and 2K solvent-based paints
• 🌈 Colour matching and colour management
• ⚙️ Paint technologies and finishing systems
• 🏭 Manufacturing production and processes
• 📑 Systems, policies and procedures
• 🛠️ Different painting methods, techniques and media
