Senior Tender Engineer – Offshore / EPC

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tender Engineer with a strong Offshore, Energy or EPC background to lead tender activities while managing and coordinating a small team of Tender/Engineering professionals .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and coordinate a small tender team , allocating workload and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
• Take ownership of tenders and proposals from initial enquiry through to final submission.
• Review client specifications and develop technical scopes of work .
• Prepare and oversee cost estimates, technical offers and commercial proposals .
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Sourcing, Commercial teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and support commercial negotiations.
• Identify technical and commercial risks, assumptions, exclusions and opportunities .
• Lead client technical clarifications and tender review meetings.
• Ensure effective handover from tender to project execution following contract award.

Requirements

• Strong Offshore, Offshore Wind, Energy or EPC background.
• Proven experience in tendering, proposals, estimating or bid engineering .
• Previous experience leading or supervising a small team .
• Strong technical engineering background combined with commercial awareness .
• Experience with cost estimation and technical/commercial offers
