Job Description
NATS, a leading organisation in the Defence & Aerospace sector, is currently looking for a Test Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and executing test plans and test cases for defence and security systems
Performing both manual and automated testing to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability
Analysing test results and reporting any defects or issues found during the testing process
Collaborating with development teams to understand system requirements and design appropriate testing strategies
Maintaining and updating testing documentation and records
Participating in test reviews and providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement
Assisting in the setup and configuration of test environments
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
Experience in testing within the Defence & Security sector
Proficiency in test engineering methodologies and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing
Understanding of both manual and automated testing techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant engineering or technical degree, or equivalent experience
