We are looking for a Therapy Assistant to join Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre in North Lanarkshire.

At Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, we offer neurorehabilitation, care and support to people over the age of 16 years with a brain injury or other neurological condition, helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.

As a Therapy Assistant, you will work closely to support the delivery of therapy programmes for individuals with a range of communication and complex needs. You will play a key role in helping people participate in activities, develop skills, and achieve positive outcomes.The role: This role is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week based at our Murdostoun site.We understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.

What you'll be doing:

• To work under the guidance of a qualified therapy team in the delivery of clinical interventions using a range of technical and creative skills to engage patients / residents / young people.
• Under the supervision of a Qualified Therapist, facilitate and participate in planned group work, individual activities, and ongoing continuous assessment with supervision. xwwtmva
• Contribute to therapy assessments and treatment plans under the guidance of a Qualified Therapist.
• Under supervision of a Qualified Therapist, provide a range of equipment and activities,
