I'm currently working with a leading multidisciplinary property consultancy that is looking to add a Town Planner to its Bristol team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to take the next step in their career, joining an established consultancy with a varied project portfolio and the opportunity to work alongside experienced planning professionals. The role offers exposure to a broad range of clients and development schemes, while providing plenty of scope for professional and career development.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a range of planning projects, with a key focus on the preparation and submission of planning applications. Responsibilities will include:

Preparing and submitting planning applications. Managing planning applications from initial instruction through to determination. Providing planning advice to clients and supporting development proposals. Preparing planning appraisals and undertaking policy research. Liaising with clients, local authorities, consultants and other stakeholders. Attending site visits, meetings and planning committees where required. Supporting senior colleagues and contributing to the delivery of a varied project portfolio.About You

A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related subject. Relevant experience within a planning consultancy, local authority or similar environment. Good knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy. Experience preparing and submitting planning applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines. A proactive and commercially minded approach. Ideally working towards or already holding MRTPI status.Benefits
