GK Healthcare is recruiting experienced Tracheostomy Nurses for nursing opportunities in Sunderland, UK.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients with tracheostomies.

*

Provide safe and effective tracheostomy care and management.

*

Monitor patients' respiratory condition and identify changes promptly.

*

Carry out suctioning and other tracheostomy-related clinical procedures within your competence.

*

Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.

*

Maintain accurate clinical records and care documentation.

*

Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare professionals, families, and support staff.

*

Respond appropriately to emergencies and escalate concerns when required.

*

Maintain high standards of infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical practice.

Requirements

*

Valid NMC Registration

*

Right to work in the UK

*

Minimum 6 months' nursing experience

*

Recent experience in tracheostomy care

*

Mandatory Health Training Certificate

*

Valid Enhanced DBS

*

Strong communication and clinical skills

*

Ability to work confidently with patients requiring complex care
