About the Role
Our client, a fast-paced leader in the FMCG industry , is seeking a creative and results-driven Trade Marketing Executive to join their team in Leeds . This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of office-based strategy and remote execution. You will be responsible for developing and implementing in-store marketing initiatives that drive brand visibility, consumer engagement, and sales performance at the point of purchase. This position requires a strong understanding of retail environments and the ability to translate brand objectives into effective trade marketing plans that resonate with shoppers and support our client's ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective in-store marketing strategies and promotional plans for key retail partners.
- Create compelling point-of-sale (POS) materials and merchandising guidelines.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment on trade marketing objectives and execution.
- Analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and recommend optimizations.
- Manage budgets for trade marketing campaigns and ensure return on investment (ROI).
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for in-store engagement.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in trade marketing , brand management, or a related role within the FMCG sector.
- Solid understanding of retail environments and shopper marketing principles.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and a passion for brand building at the point of sale.
