Trainee Assistant Client Accountant – Full Training Provided

GALENT Recruitment are working exclusively with a highly successful property investment and management business to recruit a Trainee Assistant Client Accountant.

Previous client accounting or property experience is not required. The Finance Director is committed to training the right individual and believes that attitude, aptitude and willingness to learn are more important than industry experience.

Working Environment & Benefits

• Salary of £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
• Full training provided by an experienced Finance Director
• 30-35 days holiday per year including bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Processing daily receipts and bank reconciliations
• Allocating rental income and investigating unidentified transactions
• Maintaining accurate financial records and client account balances
• Assisting with arrears reporting and management
• Supporting supplier and landlord payment processes
• Preparing and reviewing landlord statements
• Producing financial reports and management information
• Assisting with property profit and loss reporting
• Liaising with colleagues and senior management regarding financial matters
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
