About the Role

Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for aspiring mechanics to join their team as Trainee Automotive Technician Apprentices in Bristol . This apprenticeship combines practical, hands-on training in a busy workshop with formal education, enabling you to develop the skills needed to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles. You will work with experienced technicians, learning about all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair. Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians in carrying out vehicle inspections and routine maintenance.
• Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
• Perform tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
• Develop proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety procedures.
• Participate in all aspects of the apprenticeship training program.

Requirements

• A strong interest in cars and vehicle mechanics.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
• A commitment to learning and developing technical skills.
• GCSEs in Maths, Science, and English (or equivalent) are required.
• Must be able to work safely and responsibly in a workshop environment.
