Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
• Learn to use hand and power tools safely and effectively for fitting tasks.
• Help with the installation and testing of mechanical equipment.
• Undertake basic maintenance and repair of machinery under supervision.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Maintain a tidy and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies.

Requirements

• A strong interest in mechanical engineering and practical, hands-on tasks.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills within the engineering field.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are preferred.
