Bowker Motor Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Service Advisor to join our team at our Preston Docklands Centre. Working across a portfolio of automotive brands, including BMW, MINI, Porsche, Chery, Changan and Lepas.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the motor industry. Whether you have recently left college, are looking for your first full-time role, or want to develop your customer service skills within a premium automotive environment, we'd love to hear from you.

No previous motor trade experience is required as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The Role

As a Trainee Service Advisor, you will learn how to become the key link between our customers and our workshop team. You'll receive training and coaching to develop the skills needed to build a successful career within the automotive industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers to the Service Reception in a professional and friendly manner
• Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle
• Assisting customers with any questions regarding their vehicle or service visit
• Learning how to identify and explain additional work recommendations
• Supporting the Service Team with administration and customer communication
• Developing knowledge of Multi-Brand products, services and systems

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:30pm

Saturday mornings: 8:30am to 12:30pm on a three-weekly rota basis
