Trainee Web Designer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Trainee Web Designer to join their growing team in Milton Keynes . This is an office-based position where you will learn the intricacies of web design, from user interface (UI) to user experience (UX) principles. You will work closely with experienced designers and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new website designs.
• Learn and apply design principles related to layout, color theory, and typography.
• Work with HTML and CSS to implement basic web page structures and styles.
• Contribute to user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design improvements.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
• Maintain and update existing website designs as required.

Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing design skills (even academic or personal projects are welcome).
• Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
• Understanding of basic web design principles and best practices.
• A strong desire to learn and develop skills in web development and design.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be available to work from our Milton Keynes office.
