Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire UK-wide travel and occasional international travel required

Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:45 45-minute lunch break Flexibility required for travel and occasional overnight stays, up to one week

Salary: £28,000 – £40,000

Key Responsibilities of a Trainer / Instructor / Assessor

• Deliver classroom and practical training across a range of industry sectors.

• Train and assess candidates to recognised industry standards.

• Travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas to deliver customer training.

• Work closely with customers to understand and meet their training requirements.

• Promote the company's services professionally while working on customer sites.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practice and health and safety legislation.

Key Skills of a Trainer / Instructor / Assessor

• Previous experience delivering training or assessments within relevant industry sectors.

• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Customer-focused with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Criteria of a Trainer / Instructor / Assessor

• Minimum three years' relevant industry experience.

• Teaching, Instructor or Train the Trainer qualification.

• Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and general Health & Safety qualification, such as IOSH or NEBOSH.

• Relevant operator and/or instructor licences.

• Valid passport where required.

• Able to pass a DBS check and obtain required security clearances.

Advantageous Experience

Experience delivering training in areas such as:

• Working at Height, Confined Spaces and Manual Handling.

• Lifting Operations, including overhead, jib and gantry cranes.

• NRSWA Street Works and Utility Sector training.

• Material Handling Equipment, Plant Equipment and Machinery.

• Health & Safety, including NEBOSH, IOSH and CCNSG.

• Abrasive Wheels, Power Tools and Construction Operations.

• First Aid and Fire Safety.
