Training & Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Training & Development Manager to design and implement comprehensive training programs for staff across their hospitality establishments in Oxford . This role operates on a hybrid model, involving remote program design and development, as well as on-site delivery and assessment. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about employee development, possesses strong instructional design skills, and excels at engaging diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess training needs across all departments and develop targeted training programs accordingly.
• Design and develop engaging training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
• Deliver training sessions, both in-person and remotely, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay current with industry best practices in training and development.
• Manage training budgets and resources efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in e-learning development tools and learning management systems (LMS).
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote and on-site capacity, travel to various locations as needed.
