Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week (Monday - Friday)
HMS Sultan
Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering training in Marine Control Systems and Diagnostics
- Supporting departmental tasks within your skill set as required
- Maintaining and updating training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Assessing student coursework and provide constructive feedback on performance.
- Ensuring trainee welfare and progression throughout the training delivery.
- Following all security, health, safety, and environmental procedures, while maintaining your own professional development records.
What we're looking for
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
- Proven experience in Electrical and Electronic Engineering principles.
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification / DCTS Defence Train The Trainer Course or equivalent (successful completion)
- Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment

This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata'd and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
