Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate trams on scheduled routes throughout Edinburgh , adhering to speed limits and signalling systems.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers, managing boarding and alighting procedures.
• Monitor tram systems and respond appropriately to any operational issues or emergencies.
• Provide clear and timely announcements to passengers regarding stops and service information.
• Maintain accurate logs of journeys, passenger numbers, and any incidents.
• Represent the company in a professional and helpful manner to the public.

Requirements

• Ability to pass rigorous medical and background checks.
• Excellent concentration, vigilance, and situational awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
• Willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• No prior tram driving experience necessary; comprehensive training is provided.
