Transport Administrator – Warrington, Cheshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire.

Temporary to permanent opportunity after a successful 12 week placement

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Transport Administrator will include:

Coordinating driver start and finish times and ensuring all shifts are adequately covered
Briefing and debriefing drivers, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
Monitoring vehicle movements and updating systems with live information
Managing route and load allocation in line with operational requirements
Ensuring compliance with WTD, driver's hours, and tachograph regulations
Logging trailer numbers, vehicle defects, and reporting issues to the relevant teams
Communicating effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, planners, and management
Handling PODs and delivery notes, ensuring all documentation is stored correctly
