Transport Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis, with weekend cover required.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor HGV drivers' driving time, working time and rest periods.
• Calculate and monitor daily and weekly rest requirements.
• Check tachograph information and identify infringements.
• Ensure drivers remain compliant with relevant drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Communicate with drivers and provide transport administration support.

Essential Requirements

• Previous transport industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of HGV drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Ability to accurately calculate driving time, working time and rest periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• HGV driving experience is highly desirable, although not essential.

The pay rate will be based on your experience and level of transport knowledge, with a weekend bonus of £61.15/ day
