Transport Co-ordinator

2 Positions Available London (E7 9HZ) and Birmingham (Handsworth, B21 0AF)

As a Transport Co-ordinator you sit at the heart of our operation, planning shipments, routes and schedules so every consignment is collected and delivered on time. You will liaise with drivers and customers, solve problems quickly, and keep our 24/7 dispatch running.

Roles and responsibilities

• Plan and manage shipping, routes and delivery schedules
• Allocate the right vehicle and driver to each job
• Communicate with drivers and customers throughout each delivery
• Respond quickly to changes and keep jobs on track

Qualification and requirement

• Experience in transport, logistics or dispatch coordination
• Calm and organised under time pressure
• Strong communication and problem solving skills

Skills required

• Route and schedule planning
• Dispatch and operations software
• Clear communication

Education required

• Logistics or transport experience preferred
