TRANSPORT CO-ORDINATOR

Location: TIPTON
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum, DOE
Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Working pattern: Mon - Fri, 08:00 - 16:45

We're looking for an experienced and organised Transport Co-Ordinator to join our team in the Tipton area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in transport planning, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and coordinate transport operations efficiently.

The role will involve:

• Planning and coordinating daily transport operations
• Managing vehicle and driver schedules
• Use of planning systems in place
• Monitoring routes and making adjustments where required
• Communicating with drivers, customers and internal teams
• Dealing with operational issues and finding effective solutions
• Maintaining accurate transport records and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in transport planning or logistics
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicating with drivers and customers
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A strong problem solver
• Comfortable using transport planning systems and IT
• High level of understanding of metrics and mathematics
