Be the person that keeps the transport operation compliant.
We're recruiting for a Transport Compliance Coordinator to join a successful environmental and recycling business in Nottingham operating across 11 sites throughout the East Midlands.
Working closely with the Transport Manager in Nottingham, you'll become the go-to person for all aspects of fleet compliance, ensuring vehicles, drivers and transport documentation remain fully compliant whilst helping modernise and improve existing processes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in Nottingham who enjoys organisation, compliance and continuous improvement rather than transport planning.

* Managing vehicle defect reporting and ensuring repairs are completed
* Monitoring driver hours, tachograph infringements and compliance documentation
* Maintaining accurate Operator's Licence records
* Booking vehicles into workshops and liaising with maintenance providers
* Processing purchase orders and invoices
* Carrying out driver debriefs and ensuring defect paperwork is completed correctly
* Supporting the Transport Manager with compliance audits and reporting
* Helping transform a paper-based compliance system into an organised electronic system
We're looking for someone with experience in:
* Transport compliance administration
* Operator's Licence compliance
* Driver hours and tachograph legislation
* PMI scheduling and fleet maintenance administration
* Vehicle defect management
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Microsoft Excel or similar systems
* Working closely with drivers, workshops and transport management
Experience within transport, logistics, waste, recycling or general haulage would all be considered.
