About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Transport Planner to optimize their distribution network from their hub in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is crucial for designing efficient delivery routes, managing vehicle schedules, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods. You will work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams to overcome logistical challenges and maintain high service levels. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize daily delivery routes for a fleet of vehicles using specialized software.
• Schedule driver shifts and monitor adherence to planned routes and timings.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide route information and address any issues that arise.
• Analyze delivery data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.

Requirements
